Join us in celebration of banned books week with an in-person film screening of the beloved movie, The Hunger Games (2017), based on the 2008 book by Suzanne Collins. Afterwards, join us for a sneak peak of "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes." Once upon a wag, there was a therapy dog named Orry. She was wishing and wishing for a child to read her a story. Make Orry's wish come true! NYPL, Reading Education Assistance Dogs®, and New York Therapy Animals present R.E.A.D. with a Therapy Dog! Children ages 6-12 can sign up to read to Orry, a specially trained service dog.
