As the lead sponsor of one of the Library’s exciting events, your company will have the unique opportunity for branding, press, networking, and brand association with one of New York’s beloved institutions. Upcoming events include:

Library Lunch

  • A festive occasion to celebrate reader and writers. Past speakers include Jeffrey Eugenides, Colin Jost, Rebecca Mead, and Zadie Smith. Proceeds support research materials, including the acquisition and preservation of collection items.

Spring Dinner

  • Prominent business, philanthropic, and political leaders come together to celebrate and strengthen the Library’s commitment to quality education programs and cultural services, while recognizing outstanding partners that have enabled the Library to continue to expand its offerings.

Library Lions

This November, Library Lions will return to the iconic Rose Main Reading Room in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.

Special Projects and Digital Initiatives

The Library has a number of digital initiatives and special projects that provide compelling sponsorship platforms. Opportunities include:

Digital Collections

  • By digitizing the Library’s collections, and making them available to the public, we aim to inspire people to use and reuse the Library’s collections to learn and create new works. Spanning a wide range of historical eras, geography, and media, NYPL Digital Collections offers drawings, illuminated manuscripts, maps, photographs, posters, prints, rare illustrated books, videos, audio, and more.

Audio Building Tours

  • Free, self-guided audio tours are an excellent way for visitors (particularly non-English speakers) to see highlights of the Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. Audio tours are available in multiple languages and run 30–45 minutes. Participants may pick up an audio tour device from the visitor’s desk in Astor Hall.
