What is @NYPLRecommends?

Book recommendations from Readers Services at The New York Public Library... on Twitter!

What do you do there?

Fridays, from 10-11 AM Eastern Time, we offer personalized recommendations. Tweet us a book that you liked and we’ll tweet you back with a few related suggestions! Check out our feed or follow #FridayReads and #TheLibrarianIsIn to see all the recommendations.

(Feel free to tweet us for recommendations outside our usual timeslot. We’ll do our best to get back to you—if not immediately, you’ll be first up on the next Friday!)

For most of the week, you’ll get updates and links about our favorite new lists, podcast episodes, book-ish news, and what we’re reading right this minute.
