Join The New York Public Library to protect the freedom to read all year round! Kicking off during Banned Books Week, the Library is offering free, nationwide access to a selection of titles through our free e-reader app, SimplyE. These titles, which have either been banned or targeted for bans in different parts of the U.S., will be the focus of our Teen Banned Book Club, with each edition of the club culminating in a special online discussion with the book’s author. Learn more about our Teen Banned Book Club, and follow the instructions below to get your digital copy of each title!

The Library is offering free digital access to our current Teen Banned Book Club title through SimplyE, our free e-reader app. SimplyE requires birth year authentication. Readers 13 and older (born before 2011) will be able to borrow and download the book for free anywhere in the United States using SimplyE.
