No Wait, No Holds: Read the Book That Inspired the New Musical 'Between the Lines'
The new musical Between the Lines recently opened at the off-Broadway Tony Kiser Theater on W. 43 street. Based on the young adult book by bestselling author Jodi Picoult and her daughter Samantha van Leer, it's the story of 15-year-old Delilah who retreats from reality into books and one book in particular, a fairy tale, really speaks to her. It's a story about finding your own voice and writing your own narrative.
Sixteen-year-old Prince Oliver, who wants to break free of his fairy tale existence, and fifteen-year-old Delilah, a loner obsessed with Prince Oliver and the book in which he exists, work together to seek Oliver's freedom.
