Bronx Week is an annual celebration of the people, places, and organizations that make the Bronx great. Are you looking for different ways to celebrate Bronx Week (May 8 – May 16) this year? Here are some amazing New York Public Library resources that you can use to celebrate Bronx Week year-round.

Bronx Library Center Podcast

Tune into the Bronx Library Center Podcast every month to hear about new programs, library initiatives, and local Bronxites making a difference in our community. Hosts Richard Jones and Herbert Norat also cover their book picks of the month and interview library staff from across the 92-branch NYPL system.

Bronx History Collection

Check out the Bronx Library Center's Bronx History Collection via the NYPL catalog and then make a plan to visit us when we're fully reopen to view old photographs, newspaper clippings, and books covering the creation of the borough and its changes over time.

Latino and Puerto Rican Cultural Center

Once we've reopened for full services, visit the Bronx Library Center's Latino and Puerto Rican Cultural Center for monthly art exhibits dedicated to the Latinx diaspora's experiences in the Bronx and across the city. Some of our most celebrated artists are homegrown Bronxites who graciously display their artwork in our space.
