Each month the  St. Agnes Library features a local artist’s exhibition. It has become something our patron’s look forward to seeing with each visit. With our temporary closure due to COVID-9, we want to share artists' work so that everyone can experience some beauty in their life.

Today's artist is Carol Paik. Ms. Paik is an artist and writer living on the Upper West Side. Resting Stitch Face NYC was a year-long project she created to make use of scrap material she found around her home. Every week she made a new “stitch face,” using only repurposed materials, and photographed herself in a different location in New York City and beyond. She then wrote a narrative around each one. The full collection of photographs and stories can be found at her website. You can also check out Carol on Instagram.
