Celebrating Books with #LibraryShelfie Day

By NYPL Staff
January 24, 2018

Every year on the fourth Wednesday of January, libraries and book lovers across social media share selfies with bookshelves using the perfect hashtag—#LibraryShelfie! This tradition started in 2014, and this year marks the fourth Library Shelfie Day.

To celebrate library shelfies, we’re sharing photos we love from across The New York Public Library and the world! These are only a small selection of all of the great shelfies happening today—you can explore lots of other amazing photos on Instagram and Twitter!
