Yunus Cover

Nobel Prize–winning economist Muhammad Yunus asks whether self-interest and the desire for profit are the only forces motivating business and innovation. Is it possible that altruism and social good—the aspirations to to reduce poverty, improve healthcare, or education, to clean up pollution—can be just pas powerful drivers? In his most recent book, A World of Three Zeros, Yunus not only says yes, he chronicles some of the real-world examples that are proving his affirmation.

Yunus spoke with fellow economist Jeffrey Sachs about his book and the principles, power, and possibilities of social business.
