Health Insurance Open Enrollment 2017: Assistance at The New York Public Library

As you may have seen in the news, we are in the middle of “Open Enrollment”—the yearly period when people can enroll in a health insurance plan. For more information, check here: /help/community-outreach/affordablecare

Here at The New York Public Library, we can help!

New York State


NY State of Health is an organized marketplace designed to help people shop for and enroll in health insurance coverage. Individuals, families and small businesses can use the Marketplace to help them compare insurance options, calculate costs and select coverage.”

Important Dates for New York State residents:

  • November 1, 2017 — Open enrollment begins for Qualified Health Plan coverage in 2018
  • January 31, 2018 — Last day to enroll for Qualified Health Plan coverage in 2018
