Introducing Flipster: Free Access to More Than 100 Popular Magazines
The New York Public Library now offers free access to Flipster, a digital magazine platform that allows users to read more than 100 popular titles, including Bon Appetit, Cosmopolitan, O: The Oprah Magazine, Seventeen, Sports Illustrated, Time, and English and Spanish language editions of People.
With this service, you can read magazines online on your home computer or on any of the Library’s public computers (reserve a computer at any of our 92 locations). If you are using a one of our free public computers or on Library Wi-Fi, you don't need to sign in to use Flipster.
You can also download magazines to read offline with the Flipster app (no sign-in required), available in iOS and Android. In the app, you will be able to see which issues are new to the app, track how long they have before the issues expire, and delete unwanted/expired issues from their app. If an issue is expired, but you wish to keep reading it, simply re-download the issue from the site.
Find Flipster through E-Book Central, Articles & Databases, or search the catalog.
