The New York State Department of Labor and New York City Fire Department will present an on-site recruitment for Firefighters, EMT, Paramedics and Fire Protection Inspectors.

Requirements to File
In order to take the exam to become a NYC Firefighter, you must:
Be at least 17 ½ years of age by the end of application period and under 29 years of age at the beginning of the application period.
File an application to take the Firefighter exam. Application will be available to the public upon actual release of the Notification of Examination.
Base salary: $43,074; after five years $99,104.
Must bring ID and at least two copies of your resume.
On-Site Recruitment is on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at New York State Department of Labor
