Mid-Manhattan Library celebrated Martin Scorsese's 70th birthday by putting together lists of his films and his survey of postwar Italian cinema. They also organized the National Book Award Winners of 2012 into lists — see the Finalists in Young People's Literature, Poetry, Nonfiction, and Fiction.

Seward Park Library have compiled a list of Online Chinese Language News Sources; the Science, Industry and Business Library put together a list of Historical New York City Business Directories. Reference them!

The Children's Center at 42nd Street knows that autumn is in the air, and can help you get cozy with some Autumn Non-Fiction and Picture Books. Or get cozy with some pirates.

South Beach Library has Brave Books for Girls.

New Dorp Library knows some of you have plans this week involving not just turkey, but your favorite football team. After the last touchdown is scored you might want to queue up one of their Top 10 Sports Movies.
