What brings you to the Mulberry Street Branch today?

Just to go somewhere peaceful and do my homework.

What do you like about the library other than the peacefulness and quietness?

There’s books and there’s computers you can use and the librarians are nice.

An outline for my essay.

What's your essay on?

Symbols, in this book called The Great Gatsby. I'm writing about cars, because they talk about cars a lot.

I hope you get an A+. Are you coming to the library this summer?

Maybe. I have to go to music camp.

That sounds cool. What do you play?

The violin.

Will you come back to the library and have a concert for us someday?

Of course!

The Great Gatsby

I didn't "get" The Great Gatsby as a teenager but I learned to love it as an adult. Looks like Samantha is way ahead of the game at her age! Bravo!
