Michael Boyd, the Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, fresh from his epic London staging of Shakespeare's History cycle with a single company of 34 actors playing all 264 roles, spoke on June 20, 2008 about the principles of ensemble theater making and their relevance to contemporary life and politics, exploring creativity and development over time and the immediate exploitation of talent.
