Industrial Designer and New Product Development Consultant Jim Richardson helps entrepreneurs and small business start ups to develop viable consumer products, for example, a kitchen gadget that sold millions in the first year. Using compelling visuals, his talk covers the development process from concept origination through various stages of prototype development, from the making of samples for sales presentations to designing for commercialization.

Richardson demonstrates products developed using tools such as 3-Dimensional modeling and stereolithography prototyping. His past project for entrepreneurs and corporate clients over 30 years can be viewed at www.richardson-assoc.com

Program will be held on lower level, at SIBL. This program may be filmed.
