Featured Panelists:

Clarence V. Reynolds is Director at the Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College, CUNY, in Brooklyn, New York, and editor Killens Review of Arts & Letters, the Center’s literary journal. He has also taught at MEC as an adjunct English instructor. For seven years, he served as managing editor of Black Issues Book review. Reynolds work has appeared in many publications, including DIVERSE: Issues in Higher Education, Mosaic magazine, B Smith Style, Family Life, and Healthy Living. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Community of Lieterary Magazines and Presses.

Meara Sharma is is a senior nonfiction editor at Guernica; prior to that she was the magazine's senior interviews editor. She is also a producer for the public radio program On the Media, based at WNYC. 

Ram Devineni is the editor of Rattapallax magazine and co-creator of the augmented reality comic book, Priya’s Shakti, which received the 2014 Tribeca Film Institute New Media Fund from the Ford Foundation. He also produced The Russian Woodpecker, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.

Laura Pegram is a multidisciplinary artist and editor of Kweli journal. She has worked as a Development Associate at Scholastic Productions, Inc., as an Instructor at the Frederick Douglass Creative Arts Center and as an Acting Director / Instructor at the John Oliver Killens Young Writers Program.
