85th Anniversary Gala and Tribute to Howard Dodson

The Gala Evening on January 24, 2011

The anniversary celebration will feature the premiere of a multimedia performing arts work, Transformations, a salute to 20th century African, African-American and African Diasporan achievements, produced in conjunction with Tony Award-winning choreographer/director George Faison, co- founder of the American Performing Arts Collaborative (APAC). The proceeds will benefit the Schomburg Center Junior Scholars Program along with other Center research services and programs.
