About the Grand Central Library

The reading room

The Grand Central Branch, opened on July 10, 2008, is conveniently situated for commuters and area workers, as well as families living to the east.

The branch offers 45 computers, 32 of which are laptops; outlets and data ports are located at the bar-height seating looking out on 46th Street. Grand Central has collections of DVDs, CDs, large-print, paperbacks, and popular fiction and nonfiction for adults, teens, and children.

Grand Central is also the home of Teen Central's collections and programs.
