Self-Directed Search (SDS)
The SDS was developed by Dr. John Holland. His theory of careers states that most people can be loosely categorized with respect to six types--Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional --and occupations and work environments can be classified by the same categories. You can take it online for a small fee.
