New York Foundation for Senior Citizens

The New York Foundation for Senior Citizens Long Term Care Ombudsman Program trains volunteers to go into nursing and adult homes in all five boroughs to interact with seniors and to advocate for their rights as needed. Call 212.962.2720 for more information.

Computer Resource Centers
Located in recreation centers throughout New York and operated by the City of New York Parks & Recreation. Volunteers can teach or assist in a variety computer classes. Volunteers are also needed to help repair computers, marketing, outreach, grant writing and special events.
