Many people’s primary assets are held in bank and brokerage accounts.  If you wish to gift these to the Library, ask your bank or broker how to designate them so they pass to the Library at your death.  In this manner, these assets pass directly to the Library and do not pass through probate, avoiding both the delay and fees of that process.
