Each year The New York Public Library hosts a festive Corporate Dinner in honor of a business leader who has made a difference to the Library and our community at large. This high-profile fundraising event is initiated to support the Library’s collections and services. In just a short period of time, and with an impressive list of corporate honorees, the event has created a cachet all its own.
This year, on Thursday, June 26th, we honored James B. Lee, Jr., the Vice Chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co., for his outstanding civic, business, and philanthropic leadership, and especially for his wholehearted support of the Library's mission of providing free, world-class resources and services to the public.
