On May 23, 2011, The New York Public Library celebrated the centennial of the landmark Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. To mark this monumental occasion, the Library planned a Centennial Celebration that will last throughout the year and pay tribute to the Library’s century-long role as a source of knowledge, inspiration, and information for millions of people worldwide. The Centennial Celebration culminatde in a Weekend Festival beginning on Friday, May 20, and ended with a Rededication Ceremony and Centennial Gala on Monday, May 23 – the official 100th anniversary of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.
The NYPL Centennial Corporate Circle is
comprised of Corporate Partners who contributed $25,000 or more to the Library in 2011. In addition to the regular benefits of
Corporate Partnership, members of the Centennial Corporate Circle received a variety of additional benefits related to the Library’s Centennial Celebration.
