Little Learners: Mozart for Munchkins
Join us for an interactive family concert where children can experience and enjoy the wonders of classical jazz, bluegrass, and more! Families are welcomed to observe, explore, discover, sing and dance during the concert for optimum experimental learning. Each concert ends with an "instrument petting zoo"! For children birth to age 5.

Arts Programs for Adults
Unleash your creativity with our fun and engaging arts programs designed for adults! Each program will feature a different art form such as origami, painting, crocheting, creating pressed flowers, and other advanced crafts. Our staff instructors will guide you through each project step-by-step so you can create something beautiful to take home with you. All materials will be provided. No experience necessary.

NYPL Afterschool
NYPL After School is a free drop-in program for kids ages 6–12 that takes place after regular school hours on Mondays through Thursdays from 3PM to 6PM. Join our tutors and Teen Reading Ambassadors for homework help, reading recommendations, fun writing, STEAM, and enrichment activities—and even snacks! No need to register—just show up! Everything is free.

Join us for NYPL After School, our free drop-in program for kids ages 6–12 that takes place after regular school hours, Monday to Thursday, when school is in session. Get homework help from one of our tutors or Teen Reading Ambassadors, plus reading recommendations, fun activities, and even snacks!
About St. George Library Center
The St. George Library Center of the New York Public Library is located in the St. George neighborhood a short walking distance from the Staten Island Ferry and Borough Hall. The library serves as a community hub for all ages, with an upper level Children’s Room, dedicated Teen Center, and Reference Room. In addition to housing a mixed-use community room, and over 60 publicly available desktop and laptop computers, the library is home to a Tech Connect computer lab, along with an Adult Learning Center that offers English classes for non-native speakers.
The Library is a committed partner to Staten Island’s North Shore communities and performs outreach for local schools, daycare centers, senior centers, and shelters. In addition to connections among the Staten Island Community Partnership Program, the Library also collaborates with local partners like Staten Island Arts, Staten Island OutLOUD, the Pride Center of Staten Island, and many more to provide a diverse and inclusive array of enriching programs for all ages.
