WHIDC has been operates a year-round street vendors market at La Plaza De Las Americas on 175th Street between Wadsworth Avenue and Broadway.  The plaza serves as a micro-business incubator for btween 20 and 50 individuals.

WHIDC’s Business Operating Success System (BOSS) provides small business loans to local entrepreneurs who may have limited educational backgrounds or who struggle with language barriers. 

WHIDC provides business development services to home and center based child care providers in Upper Manhattan. The program includes classroom training in Spanish in child care continuing education, marketing, accounting and general business.
