SCORE offers free individual counseling from experienced retired executives on all aspects of starting and running a small business. In addition, seminars and owrkshops are offered regularly on a variety of topics including "How to Start a Business" and "How to Get Financing." SCORE Chapter 476 has three Staten Island locations: at the Chamber of Commerce on 130 Bay Street (open Wednesdays from 9am-12pm, no appointment necessary); at SI Bank & Trust, 1550 Richmond Road (open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm, no appointment necessary); and at the St. George Library, NY Public Library at 5 Central Avenue, 718-442-8560 on Saturday mornings.
