Science Industry and Business Library [SIBL]

SIBL uses advanced technology to provide businesses with up-to-date information. Visitors to the Library can use its computers to access online business databases and the internet. Wired and wireless internet access is available. SIBL's Electronic Information Center offers hands-on, instructional classes on using the Library's licensed databases. SIBL maintains a full schedule of evening seminars and workshops on business topics. SIBL's Job Search Central provides access to job-hunting and career development resources in print and electronic formats. The Center offers Career Counseling services on an appointment basis and has an ongoing schedule of seminars and workshops. SIBL also sponsors an annual Business Plan Competition. Information about this competition is available at SIBL's Small Business home page. SIBL houses a SCORE office whose experienced business executives offer free advice on how to start and run a small business.
