Small Business Services Directory

This program is designed to increase the number of qualified small firms receiving construction and construction-related contracts from the City. Construction firms are required to utilize Locally-Based Enterprise [LBE] companies when they are awarded City prime contracts and will be using sub-contractors. Small construction and construction-related firms are eligible for certification if their average gross receipts do not exceed $2 million. Participating firms are entitled to preference in sub-contracting with general contractors doing business on City projects and are guaranteed 30-day quick payment on City projects. A directory of LBE firms is made available to contracting agencies and to prime contractors. Call 212-618-8782 for applications for certification.
