The Greater Jamaica Development Corporation {GJDC] supports economic development in the community with a wide range of programs and services. It administers the Jamaica Industrial Business Zone [separately described] and operates the NYC Business Solutions Industrial and Transportation Program for Southwest Queens. GJDC plans public improvements, economic development projects and programs, and works to facilitate development with public and private partners. In addition, GJDC administers several community-based loan funds including the Economic Development Administration Sponsored Loan Fund and the Minority and Women-Owned Business Loan Fund. These loan programs are separately described.
