World Science Festival, May 29th – June 1st 2008

The inaugural World Science Festival will launch a city-wide celebration of science May 29th – June 1st , 2008, in New York City. Over 40 events will take place in venues all over Manhattan to present science in a new and exciting light through film, music, theatre, dance, lectures, panels, and debates for people of all ages, including an all-day Science Street Fair on Saturday, May 31st. The Festival will bring together many of the world’s leading scientists (including over a dozen Nobel Laureates) authors, artists, and thinkers to challenge audiences to experience science as never before.
