Richard B. Salomon Research Reading Room
The Richard B. Salomon Research Reading Room combines the comfort and serenity
of a "traditional" library with the dynamic electronic capabilities of a twenty-first-century
information center. Here readers are able to work at tables with power outlets
for laptop computers, consult a large open-shelf collection of directories,
handbooks, reference books, and journals, and use nearby self-service copying
facilities.
In the Laptop Docking area of the Salomon Research Reading Room, users may
use their own laptop computers to connect to the Internet through the Library's
high-speed network. Laptop docking users also have access to some of the web-based
business and science electronic resources which the library provides for on-site
users.
The Research Reading Room has been made possible through the generosity
of the estate of Richard B. Salomon.
