• I have a friend who owns a Cafe and has a CCORP. I'm planning to open cafe too and he suggested a CCorp. Can you explain that to me and do you agree with that?

Reopening a small restaurant
• I am interested in reopening a small restaurant that was closed in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn,New York. The restaurant served vegetarian dishes but I would like to cater to a non-vegetarian and vegetarian crowd. I would like suggestions about whether or not this is a good idea. I will be thankful for any reply that is sent.

Theme Restaurant
• Recently a historical and a very prestigious restaurant/club closed its doors for good. Months before that happened, when I first got wind they were winding down, I had approached the then manager with a new business format to revive the restaurant. While he thought my format was a brilliant one, he said he didn't have the clout or the nerve to shop it to the owners and he was unwilling to have me directly approach them. No disrespect intended, but the owners were a bunch of very old and staid business men with no restaurant experience. And, they didn't like to deal with anyone from outside of their very tight circle. I still believe my format for the restaurant is worth exploring and would like to develop it further and present it to an interested party -- preferably one in the restaurant business.

• I am opening a restaurant in manhattan. I need to know what the requirements are for a small kitchen vs. a big kitchen. Like what kind of appliances I can have and what kind of ventilation is needed for each kind. Depending on what the rquiremnents are and how much it cost me to meet them, I will have to cut down my menu.

restaurants on the same block?
