This man was an international figure when it wasn't hip. Louis Armstrong did it all, and one thing I can say about Wynton, Wynton is carrying on that tradition because he's pulling that Armstrong stuff and that Ellington stuff back and revamping it, but it still has that same character and it's about joy and happiness man. Louis Armstrong was the happiest sounding musician, the happiest sounding singer, the happiest sounding person I think I ever seen, you know, he made me happy.
