As part of the Schomburg Center's Oral History/Video Documentation Program, founded in 1980, the Center's Media Productions and Theatre Operations unit documents virtually all of the Center's educational and performance programs via broadcast-quality videotape. These recordings are incorporated into the collections of the Center's Moving Image and Recorded Sound Division. A list of Schomburg Center events videotaped during past years is maintained on these pages, as documentation of the recorded events, as an introduction to the scope of public programming produced by the Center, and as an invitation to our audiences to screen programs they may have missed or wish to revisit.
