Create Your Own Exhibition!

The Library is offering a $1,000 stipend to eight NYC area teachers to curate an online exhibition using materials from the NYPL Digital Gallery (link). We have a web-based publishing system that participating teachers will use to mount the exhibition.

The guidelines for the exhibition are as follows. The show must:

• Incorporate at least forty items, each with museum labels of approximately two hundred words.
• Contextualize the material with introductory or guiding copy of at least five hundred words.
• Be supported with at least three.
• Support some aspect of the New York State Learning Standards
