<p>This is a synthetic collection consisting of typescripts, correspondence by the author, and legal documents. The typescripts include a novel, "Hallelujah," and a play, "Tomorrow's Child," co-authored with Harriet Ford. The bulk of the collection consists of letters from the author, dating from 1937 to 1951, to Dr. Albert A. Berg, Harry Glemby, Carl Van Vechten, and others.</p>
