This is a synthetic collection consisting of manuscripts and correspondence by, as well as to, the author. The bulk of the collection includes undated reader's reports sent to the publishing firm of T. Fisher Unwin about various authors, as well as memoranda and notes. The correspondence includes letters from Chesson, dating from 1893 to 1906, to Seosamh MacCathmhaoil (ie. Joseph Campbell) and to the publishing firm of T.
