Airfare and accommodations will be covered for all participants.

HOTEL

Meeting participants will be hosted at the Library Hotel, 299 Madison Avenue at 41st Street, 212-983 4500. Reservations have been made for all participants to check in Wednesday, July 21, and check out Friday, July 23. Participants who wish to extend their visit at their own expense should contact the Library Hotel to make reservations.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS

Meeting participants should book their airfare through Austin Travel, by telephone at (800) 632-3721 (domestic callers only), by collect phone at 212-695-1235 (for international callers), or by email at nyc.corp@austintravel.com. The reservation team that will be assisting with travel arrangements will be Ramon Hernandez, Louise Baskerville, and Bibi Goorahoo. When booking their flights, participants should identify themselves as attendees at the 21st Century Curator Meeting at The New York Public Library. Please be sure to arrive no later than Wednesday, July 21. The meeting will end at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 23.

OTHER TRAVEL EXPENSES

Participants who save receipts from ground transportation to and from the airport will be reimbursed for those expenses after the meeting.

MEALS

Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon coffee on July 22 and 23 will be provided. Please contact athornton@nypl.org if you have any special dietary needs.

For those who do not already have plans for Thursday evening, July 22, we are organizing a dinner outing in the midtown area. We will be making reservations. If you would like to join us, please RSVP to athornton@nypl.org no later than July 19.

LOCAL INFORMATION

Some participants are arriving early or are extending stays into the following week. If you are interested in tours of other NYPL locations or would like to arrange a meeting with staff from a particular division, please contact athornton@nypl.org. We may organize group tours of the other facilities if there is enough interest.
