The library has many important microform sets in Women's Studies, ranging from large, comprehensive collections such as the Gerritsen Women's History, to very specific sets, such as the Papers of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Gerritsen women's history, (Sanford, NC: Microfilming Corporation of America, Ann Arbor, MI: Distributed by UMI, 1975-1977), *XM-18470 & *Z-4908, printed guide available in Pub. Cat. 89-554 and at Microforms Desk in *Z-4908+. An important and extensive collection of over 4,000 books, pamphlets, and periodicals from the 16th to early 20th centuries. Noted for its coverage of foreign material, it includes titles in 17 languages. An excellent printed guide is available, with indexes by author, title, subject, date, and language.

Herstory, (Wooster, OH: Micro Photo Division, Bell & Howell Co., 1973- ), *ZAN-T3018, printed guides available in Pub. Cat. 79-316 (vertical file). Reproduces over 800 journals, newsletters, and newspapers relevant to the women's movement, published between 1956 and 1974.

History of women, (New Haven, CT: Research Publications, Inc., 1975-1979), *ZAN-T3340, *ZAN-T4739 (periodicals), printed guide available in Pub. Cat. 83-777 and at Microforms Desk in *ZAN-T3340+. Based largely on the holdings of the Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America, at Radcliffe College, and the Sophia Smith Collection, at Smith College, this source reproduces books, periodicals, pamphlets, manuscripts, and photographs. Less international than Gerritsen, but an excellent source for research in U.S. women's history.
