Miyeko Murase. Tales of Japan: Scrolls and Prints from The New York Public Library. Oxford University Press, 1986. $29.95

This is the record of an exhibition of illuminated handscrolls and prints, as well as illustrated books, drawn from the Library’s Spencer Collection, and on display twenty years ago. It is extensively illustrated, some in color and mostly in black and white. We have discovered a limited number of copies of this authoritative book, long out of print, and are thus able to offer the book for sale at the Library Shop. The copies are in new condition.
