This panel discussion - featuring Dr. Lorraine Monroe, CEO, Lorraine Monroe Leadership Institute; Dr. Sabrina Hope King, Chief Academic Officer, Teaching and Learning, New York City Department of Education; Vincent Dotoli, Headmaster, Harlem Academy; and Osei Owusu-Afriyie, Principal, Eagle Academy for Young Men - will offer current perspectives from experienced educators, policy makers, and administrators about how to achieve quality education in our community. Come participate in the discussion about our collective roles and responsibilities for shaping a new vision for educational progress in the black community.The event is held in conjunction with the current exhibitions: Courage: The Vision to End Segregation, the Guts to Fight for It and Courage: The Black New York Struggle for Quality Education. Light refreshments will be served.
