The New York Public Library’s Bloomingdale Branch To Close Until August For Building Improvements

As part of The New York Public Library’s continuing efforts to improve our local branches, the Bloomingdale Library will be closed temporarily beginning July 15. The branch will be receiving new windows as part of an ongoing exterior renovation and is scheduled to reopen at the end of August 2013.

Patrons of Bloomingdale Library are encouraged to use the St. Agnes Library at 444 Amsterdam Avenueor the Morningside Heights Library at 2900 Broadway. All holds originally set for pickup at the Bloomingdale Library will be delivered to the Morningside Heights Library for the duration of this upgrade.

The Library appreciates our patrons for their cooperation while these important improvements are made and apologizes for any inconvenience.
