A Rewarding Career: From Library Page to Library Manager

One-third of NYPL staff members began their careers as Library Pages, and many of them have advanced to leading positions at the Library. Gilbert Arroyo is one of them. Gilbert started as a page at the Hunt's Point Library in 1977; he is now the Library Manager there and serves a key role in the community.
