Interview Opportunities for Unemployment Report-related Stories
September 3, 2010 – The latest round unemployment numbers released today by the labor department reveal a job market still unstable and hostile to those currently looking for work.
But The New York Public Library is continuing with its efforts to arm patrons across its system with the tools they need to land much-coveted jobs.
For example, the NYPL’s Job Search Central located in the Science, Industry, and Business Library (SIBL) is and has been consistently filled with job-seekers brushing up on their resumes, applying for jobs with the help of librarians via career databases, and exploring the many classes and programs available.
