Candide goes Web 2.0 and Makes World News (Again)

The Library’s new approach to Voltaire’s scandalous satirical novella tells Candide’s story using 74 illustrations by 20th-century American artist Rockwell Kent and invites visitors to participate. Chart Candide’s journey on Google Earth, add comments, drawings, photos and videos, and, in a yet-to-be-released feature, annotate Voltaire’s text in an interactive web edition.
