"They share The Library’s ongoing efforts to offer the newest books, videos, and materials to all of our patrons."

"Well-stocked libraries open the window to a world of possibilities, especially for children. I am happy to participate in ensuring that the shelves of The New York Public Library in the Van Cortlandt and Kingsbridge communities are filled with educational and recreational materials," said Assemblyman Dinowitz.

"The Van Cortlandt and Kingsbridge libraries play a vital role in the lives of so many in these communities, from our children to senior citizens," said Senator Schneiderman. "Improving libraries means making an investment in educational resources and the  cultural well-being of our neighborhoods."
