Format Specifications

8"x10" Prints from Digital Scans
High quality archival Fujix print with glossy or matte finish is provided. Most images are scanned at 300 dpi or 400 dpi depending on the size of the material. Transparencies are scanned at 600 dpi. Pro RGB(Kodak) is the color-space standard. Print will reflect the color of the original. Please be advised that rescanning a digital print is not recommended.

B&W Prints from Microfilm
Prints are produced from public service copies only and not the master negatives. The quality varies depending on the condition of the microfilm. Please be aware that scratches and lines that appear on the microfilm will also appear in the photograph. Small text will most likely not be readable in the reproduction.

Digital Files
Most images are scanned at 300dpi or 400dpi depending on the size of the material. Transparencies are scanned at 600dpi. Pro RGB (Kodak) is the color-space standard.Files are delivered in JPEG Format only for personal use and in uncompressed TIFF format for all other uses
