Kenn Duncan Collection:
A cross-section of glittering performing arts celebrities from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s is represented in a collection of 600,000 photographs by Kenn Duncan. The prominent photographer captured the distinctive style of each of his subjects, and his studio became a magnet for famous performers and aspiring actors and dancers. He also photographed major dance companies and Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. His commercial fashion photography, posters, and silk screens comprise other major segments of the collection. The Performing Arts Library hopes to have the archive available to researchers by the end of 2006.
