About Innovation Labs

In Middle School Innovation Labs, the New York Public Library’s FREE after-school program for students in grades 6–8, you can learn new skills, create artwork, get homework help, and solve problems using technology.

In Innovation Labs, you will learn how to: blog, use state-of-the-art cameras, create digital music, record and edit a podcast, create awesome videos, make communities in Minecraft, build and program your very own robot, and so much more!

Sign Me Up

As a middle school innovator, you will attend the program for three hours after school, two to four times per week.
